Semi Radrada and our Defence

Watching the eels today and the last few weeks I think there are two big issues to be addressed.One is our defence. Last year this was our strength. Our line speed was great and we always had a good kick chase. When we jammed in coverage was always coming from the insid defenders. Now days our defence is terrible, there is no line speed, we allow offloads, we drop off tackles, there is no coverage from the inside and our kick chase is non existent.Secondly what has been standing out is semi lack of involvement compared to last year. He used to almost always get our sets off to a strong start with big charges into the defence but now days he appears to jog in at half pace and is kore often than not held up and pushed backward and so we begin on the back foot almost right away. He used to also always be able to put himself in the right position for the ball to score a try but that too appears to have gone. The way he killed a certain try by over running Jennings today highlighted this for me. His heart is not in it.

I think you will find that Semi's pending Court case is weighing heavily on his mind. If found guilty, he will be going to jail.

Might be a bit hard to focus on a game with that hanging over your head?

  He wont go to jail he will get a suspended sentence restraining order krisome got something similar but his french rugby deal could be in trouble as he could have travel restrictions put on him.
  If hes guilty then his eels cintract should and will be torn up

Team are consistently getting 4 in every tackle and laying all over him. They are aiming up and he is sadly looking average.
