SEMI IS ON THE MOVE

Bristol club, where Semi is playing now, has told Semi they need to shed a few players. Has any of our recruiters made an enquiry to see if he was interested in returning to Parra? He is on a million a year but if Sualli can get that then surely Semi can command similar money given he is playing better football now than when he was previously with us. He turns only 31 this year so should have at least a couple of years of NRL standard games left in him. He is the X factor we keep hearing we need.  Surely our administrators can gauge if there is sufficient interest from third parties to assist in bringing home the one player who will fill stadiums.

    • Pure talent and exactly what we need!

not like we haven't had experience in doung this before...honestly can't understand why we haven't got a direct link there as we speak!

    • Sorry Coryn, I have seen the highights package and he is very good, but no where the player Semi is yet.

Semi is seasoned and once only level player, the only way we may get him could be a single one off season ending deal with Parra. Third parties come on down !!!!!

BRING SEMI HOME......if only for 20 weeks.

  • Would love to have him, but we'd have to move on a serious amount of coin if wanted this year.

Next year I believe we have the Hodgson contract in our favour as a Club option and a few others leaving. But how many $1 million players can you fit in 1 team?

    • 11. The other 19 play for the fun of it.

    • Ask the Rorters

  • True. Semi will be wanting big money but still worth sounding him out in case he wants to come home

Habosi the better long term option.

    • You can't say that, if he is half as good as Semi he will be looking for greener pastures after we train him.

  • When we spot a talent in Fiji it works out well. I don't know why we don't have a permanent recruitment officer based in Fiji. I'll do it!!

    • You and Coryn pack your bags I say!

it doesn't make sense you aren't over there now :)

    • Mutts you get the job of the womens recruiter, any one that beats you in a hand job gets to stay in the team. Sorry what do they call them "arm wrestle".
