Semi happy to at Eels next year.

I just watched a replay of NRL 360 and when they had the coaches on Big Mal said when asked about Semi being an option for Australia he said they had sat down to talk and he is committed to the Eels next year. Great news.

    • Yeah it'd be highly unlikely for a player to walk out halfway through a contract! Tongue firmly planted in cheek:)

    • I guess code switching makes it all the easier.
  • Hes signed for next year, so he should be honouring his deal.

Im just looking forward to when we hear he's signed an extension ;)

    • As unlikely as that sounds I actually think he will sign an extension some time next year. What ever was bothering him and made him want to leave seems to have passed now.
    • He's definitely off to French Rugby. Now who was it saying that over and over......?
  • saw that and was a bit miffed that mal's backflipping on his commitment earlier in the year to support his mate kev with his rep bans

    • True true.  But if a player, any player, wants out, he'll find a way. Just like "our saviour"Keiran.

    • Love that word "fucktard", cracks me up. Never thought it would be allowed on here but it looks like they let one go through to the keeper. Suppose anything goes when talking about Foran lol.
  • Same here Snake and hopefully a nice upgrade will make him happy and forgets this Broncs and Rugby Fcuking ideas and we see the Semi of old next year 3 more and beyond.....
  • I was just worried with the money in overseas Rugby he could be walking away next year. This is the first time I have heard he is committed to the Eels since his hiatus from playing this year.

"Semi would have broken the try scoring record if he'd stayed with us. He had 82 tries by the age of 25. And he only got half a season with Mitch. Sivo finished with 104 tries after debuting after 23. Could you imagine how many more tries Semi would…"
