    hmmmm as someone who knows a bit about the law they had the option to request he come to the station at a later date like they would in 98% of the cases. if he didnt then they come and get him. so he's either been asked to come down and he didn't or they wanted to make a point. while serious its not as if he murdered someone or stole ten dollars from the government......

  Detained denotes involuntary custody. It was probably the police meeting Semi at the airport and asking if he would voluntarily accompany them back to the station to answer some questions. ..
  But saying he was detained is a lot easier and sells more papers.

    Turns out it's the police report that say he was detained so maybe it wasn't so voluntary

  Don't disagree with you fathead, guess it all doe ends on the information and evidence provided by the ex partner as to how it would have played out

  Isn't it funny how the alleged domestic violence happened in February but the X decides to report it now. Hmmm I wonder, why.
