     I can't imagine any big prop getting back from a kick to take hit-up 1 or 2.

     So maybe the Eels should not have wingers at all and play with 11 players every week!

  Huge loss. Cant simply replace him, but we need to have another high level option.

  The only positive is we have an off season to work on combinations without him.
  
  Had he been injured during his run of form late in the season it would have been worse.

  You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s lost.
  I think that more often than not clubs and coaches under value the importance of wingers.
  They do a lot of the ugly stuff and provide the go forward coming out of your end.
  Average wingers are a dime a dozen but the truly great ones can be the difference between competing and winning.
  Is/was Semi worth $800-$1mil. IMO yes, you simply can’t measure what he offered this team but we are about to find out in 2018.
  Gone are the days of paying players by position, I think you need to consider what the said player brings to the club both on and off the field plus consider how hard it would be to replace them.
  I’m not happy with just filling his void, I want a good defender and a great finisher and unfortunately they are rare and cost a shit load.

    Yes agree as well he scores as many tries on his own as halfbacks setup
