Definitely looks like pockets weren't sold. Were they selling tickets at the ground? Maybe the publicity of a sellout scared some walk up customers away for the small amount left which were to be sold on the day. I didn't see any official sell out notices but media talked it up as sell out all week
Also I think some scalpers thought they could make money buying blocks of seats but couldn't get rid of them. Saw few for sale and mate in Sydney got offered cheap tickets but was bit wary it was a scam .
On top of that remember it is Easter weekend . No doubt some people got tickets and expected to go but couldn't or changed their mind.
Attendance was 29,047. Capacity is 30.000 as stated on the Bankwst website.

Parra fan on the Hill : They announced some days ago that it was a sell-out. They would hardly say that if it was not true. They are interested in profits above all else. At any game, some people who have purchased tickets don`t turn up for a variety of reasons. Some get sick, some emergency arises, the weather turns bad, they change their minds, etc. 29,047 is not a bad turn out for a stadium with a 30 000 capacity. Less than 100 people had a reason for not turning up. A good result in my estimation.
"Hey i would not have any issues with Bostock if he signed, just don't think they would let him go. They would let Isaako go before him.
Talakai and another decent player is fair value for Lomax. But gettin a 29 year old Talakai, whose defence is…"
"Wouldn't mind Isaako. Nice steady Winger. Great goal kicker and is a right Winger which is the side we need. I would still try and get Taulagi from NQ. Yeah he is a left Winger but he has played right for Samoa, just feel he is the type of Winger we…"

I know, I was gutted when I saw those empty seats as I kept on going to Ticketek even up to game day and I still couldn't get tickets >:/
There were so many empty seats all over the ground.
