In December last year, I received a call from Daniel to discuss the seats that we would like to switch to. He gave us a few options, one of these being in Row D in a bay in the Cronin stand.
We decided to take these as Daniel said they were good seats, were 4 rows back from the front and the ONLY problem with the seats was that if it rained then we may get a little wet,. We were happy to take a chance on the rain.
However, our seats are actually on the First row with a dirty glass pane and a railing blocking our view of the ground. Speaking to those sitting around us, we all agreed the glass and railing made the game unwatchable. Some commented “it would be better to watch it on TV at home, at least my glass is clean there and I don’t have a railing in front of my TV”.
We were previously sitting in East 68 but decided we’d like to try something different and sit in the Cronin stand for a different view.
Never were we told by Daniel that we would have a restricted view or be in the first row.

Between my fellow four seat holders and I:
- I designed and developed the ParraFirst website and marketing materials in helping Steve Sharp and his board gain election.
- We have been members for the past 5 years, of which included 2 wooden spoons and a second last placing
- Our families have been Eels fans since the 1950’s and have had memberships for at least 30 of the years
- One of us is related to Laurie Conyers - the former Asics General Manager who has a Corporate Box at the stadium named in his honour
- Worked for free on 1eyedeel in doing website banners.
- Designed and developed the Cumberland Champions website
We feel we have been dedicated members for many years and deserve to be treated better than what we have been.
Larissa, if you are out there, could you please contact me so that can sort this error out. Your phone line just rings out all week and your email response says you are inundated at the moment and responses can take up to 3 days.
These restricted view seats should never have been sold!
So I ask, fellow 1eyeds, get behind this and help a brother out to get some new seats!

For any paying ticket holder that's pretty crappy, for a ticketed member that's disgraceful, for a long time ticketed member who gives a crazy amount of time and skill to the club and community solely out of passion... That's a disaster.
Hope this gets fixed up ASAP bud! Totally unacceptable. And you're right, TV would be better than these seats.

I reckon it is a disgrace that these seats are sold without forewarning. Surely it's actually illegal to market these seats as a normal, or even premium product.
If they want to sell them, fine - but ensure the purchaser is aware of what they are getting, and make sure they are HEAVILY discounted.
If memberships cant help you, go straight to the top mate. Get on the phone and ask for Sharp or Boulos, make sure whoever you speak to is well aware of how aggrieved you are, and don't accept anything less than a discussion with someone who actually has some authority. No matter how pissed off you get don't hang up!
Members deserve so much better - it's a disgrace.

Fuiiiiii this is shit mate, our membership department is a complete disgrace, its the worst that its been for decades going by the constant reports like this and dramas revolving around it, the person running our membership dept should stand down asap, this person has imo shown bumbling incompetence time after time, it seems like a complete circus and there is no way our long suffering fans should be treated like this time after time, and to have that person come on here and treat our members like fools then walk away at the first sign of the facts or somebody not happy with her, that showed the exact type of person running our membership dept.
A nice girl but in way over her head, surely there must ba a job in the club coffee shop going?

If true, no doubt it would be because she would be bombarded with complaints about the never ending fuck ups by the membership team.
