Seat allocations for ANZ

Finally got in contact with a human at parra hq after many failed attempts at being bumped around their phone re direction. Found out our seats are in row 5 bay 107. Our old seats at parra stadium were row m bay 67 and anz home game seats were row 13 bay 107. Hows everyone else going with their seat allocations? We're not real happy about it as we previously had a much better view over the whole field

  • Looked back several pages couldn't find the thread. Why were they able to give us better seating for our previous years at anz. If you got a link to the other thread please provide so I can check that out. I did look first, just don't have all day to scroll through it all
  • I might be wrong, but the new tickets you received seem to be better than your older ANZ tickets. You're closer to the action by 8 rows why not? Surely if you enjoyed it previously, you can enjoy it now. Stop the complaining, we have one the worst fan base when it comes to this shit. Never satisfied.
    • Closer doesn't equal better. The extra rows back and elevation give much better view of entire field and how game being played out
  • You have a link to previous thread?
  • Agree with you Timbodavo,

As you are closer to the field you are lower down, therefore you don't get the view. Our seats are higher up in row 26 (previously row 21) of Aisle 107, but we have been moved more to the side, whereas we were right on the halfway line previously. But as long as we're under cover I'm happy (our Mick Cronin seats were under cover) Row 21 was not under cover and I didn't want to face 2/3 years of not being sheltered from the rain.

    • I guess some of us are going to get unlucky and others lucky. They did state in their email that longer standing loyal ticket holders would be given preference. My friends and I have been season ticket holders for 15 years coming into 2017 and in previous few years upgraded to family passes as we've had growing families. We're not real impressed as the new seat certainly doesn't reflect the seats we had at pirtek as they stated they'd try to do in their member email

        • Yes you are correct. We've been put forward 8 rows though mate. Not back. When you're at the front that makes huge difference in seeing the field as we were, we were elevated on the terrace. Row 5 I'm fairly sure wil be flat leveland have no overall view of the field. Back where you are either way you're going to see the field ok if that makes sense
          • Hi Timbo, my parra seats and anz are virtually identical to yours. I just checked my new seats and I too have been moved down, but I've been moved down to aisle 106 as well - I've moved from 50m line down to what looks on the map to be 30m line. Absolute rub shoulders... Not happy
            • Shame it's at your expense, but at least I know we not the only ones getting shafted. Sorry to hear mate. Easy for these wankers to call us wingers etc, when you been season ticket holder you get told by the you'll get treated in a certain manner and so you should. Bet these people calling me names never payed a membership or season ticket in their life. I've been putting my money where my mouth is and turning up to support this team through many dark times over these last 15 years when a lot of people have pulled the pin. Blue and Gold forever!
  • Does anyone know whether the seat numbers at ANZ get larger towards the halfway line or away from the halfway line? My seats are the same section and row, just 15 seat numbers higher than previous years.
