SCULLY WANTS TO KNOW- CONSPIRACY OR NOT?

All I really want to know is 'Did Jarryd have free will/choice with his decision, OR was there conditions/ inducements/ coercion by the NRL for him to go to the Titans?'

What does everyone think? Was he doing a Jerry McGuire or not. It does not fit with what he has done in the past, or what friends say makes Jarryd tick.

Yes or No answers fine

  • 1 minute there NRL are investigating payments made to Hayne in the past by Parra. They were also looking at Wayne beavis over TPAs not just at Parra. Suddenly after they sign for GC they are no longer looking at either person.

Conspiracy? Wash your mouth out with soap and water.

    • That's a yes

  • What do you mean by it doesn't fit with the past? The big difference between now and then is that Beavis isnt being handed bags of cash in a cafe in Rouse Hill anymore.
    • An he is no longer being investigated.

    • From the way Jarryd has always been painted ,over time, money has never been a major motivating factor. Many people have said that ; friends, his Mum blah blah. He was on diddly squat in San Fran.

A chance to play with friends, his team....would he have given that up FREELY for extra cash.

      I'm not convinced personally.

  • 100%, NRL would've thrown in extras for him to go to Titans. Those c***s hate Parramatta, just like when they f**ked us on Izzy Folau

    • I lean towards the NRL intervening to favour the Gold Coast.

      Cue the mystery music.......

  • I reckon he did have a choice yes but I still think the way it's all gone down is very suss.

So still maybe a bit no as well. I'd like to think that the same minutes that hung our board and heavily implicated others and clearly Beavis, is still a going thing and being investigated. It was a major thing with the Mossop evidence for us.. Because if the NRL washed their hands of Beavis' clear wrong doing, don't think it's outlandish at all to consider a heavy dose of blackmail and persuasion on the NRLs part.

After all Carlo it was reported on the side by of all ppl Massoud, that the NRL integrity unit were on record for using blackmail and threatening witness' that weren't too keen in coughing up in our investigation.

Wouldn't find it all that surprising at all if your suspicions are right.
We've been conned on all fronts. I just wished the appeal went ahead and made the sleeve bag squirm a little, even if just to put it all to bed.
    • I emailed Kate today Mace to bloody see what's doing in the stinky NRL world

  • No. Jarryd Hayne going back to the Eels would have been the single biggest marketing bonanza for the NRL for decades. You remember what it was like when SBW came back to the game. Hayne would have been bigger. That's shot now.
