Great result tonight, our attitude in testing conditions was outstanding and hopefully one we can maintain for the whole season.
1 - Gutherson = 9/10, simply brilliant, some of the saves at the back were definitely for the highlights reel.
2 - Sivo = 9/10, excelled in the wet and just kept turning up even after a few heavy tackles were made on him.
3 - Opacic = 6/10, solid, does a job and that's about it.
17 - Niukore = 7/10, very good playing out of position, I had my doubts about this but it proved a swift piece of work by Arthur, could have been a different story on a dry surface though.
5 - Ferguson = 4/10, awful game, got bashed consistently through the night.
6 - Brown = 6/10, nice cover tackle which most likely saved a try, kicked well.
7 - Moses = 8/10, didn't overplay his hand and kicked very well all night, exactly what you want your halfback to do, keep up the good work!
8 - Campbell-Gillard = 7/10, thought the conditions suited his game tonight, got through some good work in the middle.
9 - Mahoney = 8.5/10, another good game with some nice trick shots around the ruck, kicked well too.
10 - Paulo = 8.5/10, such a quality player, makes tackles, carts the ball up and scores tries.
11 - Lane = 6/10, better tonight, did his job.
12 - Matterson = 6/10, thought he played tough prior to his unfortunate injury, made some very determined carries.
13 - Brown = 6/10, struggling to impact, is his mind elsewhere?
14 - Kaufusi = 4/10, not many minutes again.
15 - Papali'i = 8/10, good impact again tonight.
16 - Smith = 2/10, not many minutes again.
18 - Hipgrave = 3/10, limited time.
All in all a good performance against last premiers and something to build on for sure.
Fingers crossed Matterson is ok.

That's your opinion Brissy, his stats aren't as good as Campbell-Gillard, how are you supposed to rate RCG when Paulo gets a 8-9/10?
Kaufusi played 30 odd minutes for 6 runs, I'm not sure how you would score him any differently?
Will Smith played near 15mins, it's no fault of his, I just can't see how you can expect to score him any higher.

Gee your clueless, I bet you didn't know that Nathan Brown had the lowest tackle efficiency of any player tonight bar George Jennings and Tom Opacic.
He also equally missed the most amount of tackles for Parramatta on 5.

Again, any stat taken in isolation has minimal value. I think tackle efficiency is one of the more irrelevant stats in rugby league.
The issue is if one of your players is tackling with his arms not his shoulders, that's when you have problems.
Stats are only part of the equation Scott
Agree with brissy here, Brown was very good tonight, 8/10 for mine.
That's fair enough Snake, we can't all agree on everything.
Just glad we got a win and that there were some real positives tonight.
