Schuster

‘He is soaking up $800k’: Manly ‘trying to shift’ Schuster out of club amid big ‘discipline’ issue

If the noise is right

would you....?

He is one of THEM players, extroidinary talent

Needs an attitude adjustment

Worth try assist/try per game avg

Smart  Moves well  Damaging / Creative Fwd

Be willing to pay $500 if Manly took $300

  • They were talking about him on 360 last week after DCE's comments around his attitude and commitment. A few of the panelists were dumbfounded by his current salary and that it goes up in the coming years. He's certainly a player of interest but I'm not sure for us. The dolphins have the salary cap space and the need and Wayne is the sort of coach that he needs.

    • 1. He only wants to play no.6 so he will only leave to a club that will guarantee him that spot

      2. Payment in KFC vouchers must be part of his contract

      3. His family is in Western Sydney so Dolphins are out of the question

Tigers clearly the only club that ticks all of the above boxes

  • and then what happens to Dylan Brown. Schuster  only wants to play 5/8.

  • Absolutely not. He'll fade into obscurity. Isn't made of the right stuff.

    • He'll be another Feleti Mateo. Genius when he wants to be, but most of the time poor work ethic and lazy efforts.

      • Whatever happened to him? He went to the Dogs, did eff all there and disappeared...

        • He's massive these days , like Mark Tookey massive. Went to The warriors for big coin and then Manly I think ?  But don't recall him at Canterbury unless he signed and never took the paddock ? .  He was the textbook X factor player , not all in a positive way.  But when he was on he could pull a win out of his arse.  But overall a frustrating player to be reliant on.

      • Geeze, that's a bit harsh on Mateo. He had a decent run and performed much better than Schuster. Schuster has barely proved himself a first-grader, Mateo was in our 2009 team and was the player that sparked our comeback.

        • Can't bag Mateo sorry. I wish we had a team like that again they were almost golden days. Inu, Mateo, Hayne.

          • 100% They played some amazing footy from 2005-2009. I love watching highlights from that era.
