Just what has Schubert done for the Eels, salary cap wise, thus far into 2016.? It was said he told a group of Eels supporters at a function some weeks ago that : "That it won't be as bad as that." meaning it would not be the loss of 12 points but somewhat less. The group asked him would we lose the 12 points? He negotiated with the NRL on the salary cap matter but there is no evidence to suggest him gaining any amelioration for the Eels in that at all. He was employed as the salary cap expert. He now appears to have been appointed to some other function within the Eels structure. Some have suggested he be the new CEO or chairman!
One has suggested that while Schubert has done little or nothing salary cap wise this year, just wait to next year, then we will see the Great One really buzzing with activity. I can hardly wait.

Ian is not the stand in CEO but his job description has broadened, he's handling more than the clubs accountancy atm through default because the board is too scared to employ anybody because they are scared of losing any control and also being exposed for what they are, any new CEO will do that in 5 minutes unless he is a complete patsy.
Im sure Ian is doing his best but is way out of his depth, his talks to the members council have been beyond ridiculous from all reports to the point of him stating the club does not need TPA's
being in one of those chairs.
But alot is at stake hear.
Where did Chris go, why was
his great idea go! Does anyone
know why his offer knocked
back? And who knocked him
Back? Does anybody know!
