Bit of a surprise with how he is in and out of NSW Cup but he could be earning an NRL debut in coming weeks it seems. Pryke is a middle forward, have not seen too much of him but from what i have read is a bit of a worker, EA would know more about him.

  • Another Rousehill Rhino.

    Exciting times.

  • Yep the way the games going these big forwards are done. I'd be going with hopgood, Saxon, chairlie as the main 3 middles. Rcg and juniors days are numbered and don't have the mobility to play the fast game anymore

    • Utoikamanu  -  T May - Collins - NAS - Hughes

big boys still making waves brus, ours may be tired n past their best but the big boys still lay a platform. May have more mobiles around them but the big ain't ever gonna leave

      • you still need 1 or 2 big men to win a comp i think

      • Spot on, you still need a couple of big boys.

    • I call bullshit on the game no longer suited to big men. Look across the comp and there are plenty of teams with massive, but fit forwards who are doing well.  Plenty. Age is no doubt an issue, but so too as I have previously stated is the impact of ten years of BA's clueless so called power game. Chase the collision and smash yourselves endlessly with one out hit ups. It has taken it's toll. BA thanked Gutho for placing his body on the line for him and now people are caning Gutho who is and has clearly been playing injured. BA should have offered the same apology to our key forwards, for his stubborn, mindless approach and inability to adapt.

  • wonder if someone is pulling the strings

  • Never heard of him

  • He is similar to Guymer. Pryke is a prop. He is still rounding up the defensive side of his game. Very physical runner of the ball. Played lock for our SG ball final side. He still needs way more minutes in cup before we see an NRL debut.

    • Ea who is more developed at this stage Saxon or jock?

I think 60s compared him to a forward Gutho. Fit as a fiddle.

"I don't think TDS starts for his Parra debut. I also don't know if we'll continue playing Joash off the bench if we want him to switch to 5/8 next year. He's probably better off playing that position at cup level."

"I'm just going off who I know is available. Sam was slated for round 19 so could be back this week. But Ryles may want him to get some game time in reserve grade given he's had 2 months off."
