Jim Sarantinos is a partner @ Ferrier Hodgson, his speciality is corporate structure, the very thing our club is looking to review.
Max Donnelly is a former partner @ Ferrier Hodgson and according to their website he is now a consultant.
There is no conflict of interest because this review is irrelevant to the club’s status under administration. Our voluntary administration has nothing to do with our onfield performance.
If this was about a corporate restructure I’d be supportive.
Its about sports performance. Something Jim has zero experience in.
If he gets the right advice from successful people in this particular field he may do ok. But trying to equate this to restructuring a business is naive. It’s not the same. It’s a completely different paradigm.
But he’s not conducting the review on his own Mutt, it just said he’s leading it. To me that says he’s going to have others with a variety of skills and experience involved
No, because the administration wasn’t appointed for financial reasons as is usually the case, it was appointed for governance reasons, and they haven’t been resolved yet.
