Sandow's Statement

Super League side Warrington Wolves have confirmed half-back Chris Sandow has joined on a two-year deal after his release by NRL club Parramatta Eels.The Australian, 26, started his career at South Sydney Rabbitohs and had been linked with the switch for some time.Wolves hope to have Sandow available for the Super 8s but are still awaiting confirmation on his visa."Tony Smith has been a big part of my decision to move to England," he told the club website."I'm looking forward to working with him and getting stuck in with the boys."Lots of people in Australia talk about the passion of English crowds, the noise and atmosphere at rugby games - hopefully I can add something to the team as we make a charge towards the title."Sandow will help cover the loss of Richie Myler next season, who is moving to Catalans Dragons at the end of 2015.

  • Sandow didn't write that statement. It's got too much grammar.
    • "It has correct grammar".
      Got is an ugly word and how do you measure grammar, too little? Too much? Just enough?
    • Sandow didn't write that statement. It has correct grammar.... Better?
  • Chris sandow, I know your actions won't speak louder than your words. You'll be back in qld with your family in no time.
  • On Sky Sportsnight just now Rebecca Wilson has given BA a nice old serve over Sandow leaving. She alleges;

    BA has been white anting Sandow for 10 weeks by making phone calls to media telling them on the quite what a bad influence he is on the team. As a result many Para diehards have jumped on that bandwagon. She finds BA's behaviour very disturbing and her belief is he got rid of Sandow but watch out because it will happen again and again as BA will never accept blame himself.

    What a spray!
    • Libelous!

    • Jimmy I have been complaining about ba's public commentary for the last week but keep copping shit about my position - I think there is meat on that bone
    •  There is some truth in that. The administration should have stepped in and stopped players being bagged on public radio. But it won`t  happen with the current administration in place.
