IMO, for Sandow to be more than entertainment and actual help us win a premiership he needs to
1. Learn how to gamble. Life and footy is playing the odds and just telling him to avoid the pokies is not helpful. Sandow needs to learn when to hold and when to fold. For example not trying a high risk play in your own half. Its not just playing it safe all the time. Sometimes you know you can do something even though mostly it would be a bad idea. But you don't try a chip kick in your own half cause you decided you want to go out and win it for the boys impatiently. You only do it if you just know you can, not because you need to.
2. Learn how to convert in the opposition's 20. What use is doing brilliant 40/20s when you can't convert on the opportunity. Sandow's attacking kicking and decision making in the opposition's 20 has been very poor.
I love Sandow's attitude and I thought he used to be a real winner and good under pressure. But I think it will be hard for him to learn those two points and unless he can he cannot help us win a premiership and we need someone else at half.

I started wondering whether Cherry-Evans had backed the Dogs last night.
Sandow has just learnt not to gamble !!!
If we're going to have to teach him, we may as well put our efforts into a younger half.
And Tad, if you are offering me DCE to partner Foran over Sandow, I'll take DCE.
Yes I agree with Ham, DCE played well behind a ordinary pack and was involve the whole 80 where if our pack was ordinary Sandow usually goes missing or does stupid things.
It is about risk management and low probability plays should not be done at high risk positions - unless everything was aligned to make it a high probability which it wasn't . Instead of teaching Sandow not to gamble they should teach him risk management or how to play poker
