Sammy Thaiday is a fucken grub !!

Poor old sammy was found guilty of contrary conduct at the NRL judiciary for pulling Jesse Bromwich injured thumb Thaiday had argued eat a dick sammy. he claims he was not aware of Bromwich's pre-existing injury, and was merely doing whatever evhe could to stop a try and then slow the play-the-ball down. He's a fucken grub always the third man in pushing or shoving he's a disgrace to be called a footballer. If he was born back in day of Artie Beetson and Kevin Ryan these fellas would of smashed this smart arse. He fucken knew what kind of injury Jesse was carrying and claims to be innocent just accept your deadset fucken grub.

    • You are Queensland supporter ?
    • Just accept the facts the dead shit is a fucken grub
    • Yeh I agree to an extent there but how often do you see a player trying to grab a players hand with that much force? Like he was intending to hurt him more imo especially with how long and hard he was holding on.
  • Methinks the turmoil over this is something that starts with the letter R, and likely that Sammy on many occasions is just a sook besides being a QLDR and mules player he's supposed to be allowed to do whatever he wants with no offense being knotted.

  • I think it's ok to target a guys dodgy shoulder or knee with a once off solid tackle, but to sit there ripping at the bandage was a pretty poor look and also a bit cynical. Deserved a contrary conduct charge
    • Agree with Mick , if a blokes nursing an injury he's fair play in the tackle if it's legal . But to pull and twist off the ball is just grubby and not in the spirit , I reckon it's cowardly . Kinda like when Gallen targeted Lafranchis stitches under his bandage that time . It's just gutless tactics from someone who obviously doubts their own ability to make an impact against that player legally .
    • Totally agree!
I heard the mighty Gus Gould in a fizz during the week carrying on that inured players are always targeted and that for ST to be charged is ridiculous.
I've never seen any player trying to twist a thumb of an oppposition player before this- this was purely a dog act by a dog human being. Totally outside the spirit of the game.
And such a terrible look to the kids watching the sport. Gus Gould should cop a contrary conduct change for bringing the game into disrepute for supporting it.
  • Bromwich isn't crying about it. No body is except PC idiots and the match review people that cater to said PC idiots.

  • I was more annoyed about the big shove in the back to the storm winger. He was third man in and didn't need to involve himself. When a player is relaxed and blind sided like that there is a big chance of neck or back injuries
    • Is it true the Storm player got a dislocated shoulder from that?
