Albert Einstein once said " the first sign of insanity is doing the same thing time and time again and expecting a different result" Maybe a quote that our coaching staff should embrace. Week after week we keep seeing the same thing, lack of leadership, dropped ball, lack lustre defence and the same result...NO points. Our season is done , all we can do now is look to the future and start playing some of the guys who want the opportunity to play in the blue and gold. Time we sent a few guys off to Wenty for a few games and let them consider their contributions and their desire to play for our club. Looks like some guys have "contract legs" and are there just to make up the numbers. If any player does not want to be an EEL let him feck off and we can find a man who cares and appreciates the opportunity to replace him. Now is the time to make some difficult decisions.........not next year...........now.

Meh... I'm sure the same team can win next week...
that's what we said last week , the week before and the week before that..........."same , same, same"
agreed and agreed..............AW needs some serious improvement along with Joseph and a couple of the other cruisers.
I agree. The team is playing pathetic football right now. Some individuals are having a go, but others not so much. The Club has done a great job off the field in terms of membership and player interaction etc, but if we can't win games on the field, the fans will soon disperse again.
The team/players need a good fairdinkum kick up the backside and several need to be dropped.
All good points True EEL, however I am finding it more difficult to enjoy being at the stadium as the season progresses. Loosing is one thing but it seems the drive for new members has taken precedance over the care of existing members. Year after year we are asked for feedback only to be ignored, food is a discrace, beverages take a half to be served (even at quite games) and the obsession with making us enter and exit via a designated gate is absurb, especially now with the ground works happening. I know smoking is a stupid thing to do but some of us choose to do so and every game we are forced out a specific exit and then are refused entry back into the ground via the same exit/enrty point ?? security is becoming very nazi like with zero desire or capability to make intelliget decisons to help traffic flow smoothly. In addition for some reason if you leave the ground with 20-30 mins remaining the highly skilled and trained security nazi's will not allow you to re enter !!! What the heck is that about ?? makes no sense at all and just makes people very angry which at some point will create a very ugly scene. May I remind the management that we have paid good money to be a member and our ticket entitles us to see an entire game , maybe this is a breach of contract ??? Maybe some day it will end up in a court ?? All very good having zillions of members but how about looking after them. Is there anyone in EELS management who cares about customer service ??? I guess not because they never seem to respond to any contacts.
oh it's broke alright !!!!!
Yep, you're right Fong and I'm not sure we often agree on things? ;)
There is a massive problem with the team right now. I'm not sure if there is a money or top 25/second tier issue going on, but the fact that duds or redundant players like Joe Paulo, IDG and Reece Robinson keep getting picked is beyond me. Also I think Richie F may need to retire. Also, how is Tepai NOT playing NRL? Seriously that is the biggest issue for me right now, well that and the mystery surrounding Lussick?! I though Lussick was finally starting to go alright and now it seems like he's on the outer and headed back to Manly?
Stability is definitely important, but I agree about needing results.
Sorry Gol - NO player is bigger than the team or the game.
Time some clubs grew a set and realised this.
Go back quite a few years when Tallis was going to tell St George how he wanted things done - they sat him on the sideline for an entire season.
Sit them out and let the rest of the team deal with them.
