Sam Thiaday

I think Sam Thiaday has still a lot to offer. He will easily get a spot in the Eels team next year. Si I say ..... go for Sam

  • I'm sorry don, but us taking Thaiday off the Broncos hands would only help them to retain Tevita Pangai Jnr.

Parramatta MUST STOP being the NRL's RETIREMENT VILLAGE.

Parramatta MUST SIGN TPJ & Tapau to even think about being a top 8 team in 2019.

We need both of them because if Paulo or Brown get injured then we'll be back in the 2018 boat again.
    • Sammy has retired , so it is not saving the Broncos anything. I think we could get Sammy reasonably cheaply , what will he earn outside of football

      • He will take a gig with Ch9 as they love him and his incredibly forced and lame comedy routine . They need a token black fella to get their diversity in check .

    • The CAPS button is jammed again son.

  • No more has been players. Yes, he may be okay as a player but you can't build a future around him. The retirement village in Parramatta must close down.
  • Someone thought Carl Webb, Paul Whautira, Chris Hicks, and Chris Walker still had a lot to offer too.
  • Thaiday would be good if we had a decent team that was winning and you needed someone who can help out the young'uns and the forwards rotation. Only then would I see value signing an aged player like big Sam.

  • He retired

"Big motor for a big bloke. It's the same with Tuivaiti, they both seem to keep coming with the ability to play big minutes. They'd both have to be 115kg plus. Not sure who the conditioning coach is but he's doing a good job on these young blokes."

"Assuming he is coming back from injury the reason to play him in reserves is to build up his match fitness. Will get to play longer minutes in that match."
