    He can kick goals - not sure how well but he has been the main goal kicker in FG
    Maybe that is why Sharp is on holiday

  If your not happy in your environment you don't play well. I floated this idea months ago but you'd get lolahea or Fisiahi cheaper.what is it with the Warriors and classy outside backs. This is a nursery we could plunder.

    When you're the only league team in NZ, you get to choose from the best league juniors and maybe even some Union players.
    
    Also it's harder to poach NZ players/juniors as they would be leaving their friends and family. Whereas in sydney, friends and family are only a short drive away, meaning the only difference between choosing teams is personal preference (team you grew up following, etc) and money.
    
    But in saying that, the opportunity to play first grade is something most take with open arms and for some players money talks.

    Agree with AI. ESL is where players go when they retire or are not good enough for the NRL.

    True, but even the ESL don't want Locke. At least these guys dominated the ESL
