"Typical dramas all before season kick off! The never ending story! Looks like incense burning more than smoking anything! It's anothing story but as we all know the media loves anything that pull an Eels player through the mud"
"MeelK that is the best point made. We have to remember that Iongi has no doubt visited some hospitals (Ronald Mc House). As others have said Poor Latrell got a week.....and yet this is an old image."

And remember, signing someone for too long can bite you in the bum just as much as not signing them for long enough.
Norman, Gutho, Moses and French are locked in - that's why the talk is now towards hookers and props.
Parramate2 you should probably do some better research on the contract lengths of said players before posting a blog that is factually incorrect!!!
While you raise good points, the thing to consider is that the primary players we have and that includes the ones you mention have, as others have said, signed new and/or extended contracts already, When extensions are signed, they also more often than not include incremental rises over the years which covers them more than adequately.
The core players that we have include both young, mid and older age players, and those in the last bracket generally may have shorter contracts, than the others and so on down the list to the single year players who have to perform good enough to warrant an extension by showing they are putting the pressure on those above.
We will see the club looking to the future once we get closer to round 20 onwards and I am sure that most here believe the coach and others in charge have things in and under control.
