As Head Coach, how da fcuk has he not improved our defensive structure, especially that left side defence with Simonsson and turnstile Sivo is beyond me. Happens year after year with fcuk all improvement.
In attack, there are fcuk all set plays or tactics around winning the ruck. Just look at the Penrith and Melb blueprint. Forwards unselfishly just running hard, hitting the deck creating fast play the balls, outside backs backing up with hard fast hit ups. Simple and effective tactics that create speed and opportunities against a retreating defence.
This coach and the entire coaching staff is rubbish. What da fcuk do they even do at training? BA's weekly message of 'winning the collision' and 'desire to win' is beyond a joke if that is what he thinks will get us to a title. Where are the innovations and the desire to improve on how you play week in week out? Where are the different game plans against different oppositions? With good coaching, you should see improvements, it's not happening under this coach.
I can't recall the last time a parra coached team had a defensive mindset.
The rule this offseaon should be they're not allowed to touch a ball or do any attack until late Janruary 2024.
The entire pre-season should be focused on defence and fitness.
