Aus 29/1 after 9 overs.
Rediculous they stuck with Bancroft who's already out for 5 after scratching about the crease. He struggled against a toothless England attack. He'll get pulverised by the SA quicks. Should never had made the tour.
Aaron Finch who scored 2 100's and a 50 in the ODI's whilst backing it up with a big hundred vs WA should have been given a shot instead IMO.
I think it will be a close series but SA will take it. We're too weak in the batting department and Smith can't do miracles all the time to save the team's bacon.

We haven't lost a series in SA since 1970, won't happen this time either. Aus 3-1.
Their batting line up is more vulnerable than ours, and our attack is superior, especially with them being without Dale Steyn for at least the first two tests.
You know your opponent is worried when they badger their own curators to produce roads to try to negate our quicks. If I'm a curator and a captain or a coach comes and asks me for a certain kind of wicket, I'd tell him to Fuck right off and then give him the exact opposite.
This is the weakest Aussie line up we've ever fielded since 1970. More flaws than a dodgy diamond.
Don't forget last tour we had Michael Clarke who stood up and so did Chris Rogers.
2/43 now and Smith has to save us again and in after just 10 overs.
How does Bancroft keep his spot??? It must be great having fuckheads like Justin Langer in your corner.
Renshaw is a far superior player and about 5 years younger.
I gotta say, I thought Bancroft was a winner when they picked Renshaw instead, but Renshaw showed himself to be a fast learner. He should be in the side ahead of Bancroft.
Bullshit mate, the only real weakness in our batting line up is Bancroft, and our attack is easily the best in the world.
As for the last series, it was Dave Warner & Steve Smith who made the vital runs. Warner made 3 hundreds in his last 3 test innings there, and Smith is 10 times the player he was 4 years ago. Shaun Marsh has made key runs there & Mitch is also a much better batsmen now, and our lower order are all extremely capable.
The Marshes are spuds, see how they go on decks that do about against top a top quality attack.
Cummins should be batting at 5 in this line up.
That's the thing though, Faf has been badgering their curators to give them low, slow decks that won't do anything. Shaun has made runs in SA before Al, and Mitch is a much improved batsman than he was last year.
Mitch cashed in on battered and beaten bowling line up.
They played on 4 absolute roads this summer, Sean has probably been the most consistent he has in his career and sadly we probably have no one better at home.
Still i have no faith in anyone in the line up bar the two at the crease ATM.
That is true, but it just wasn't the numbers Al, he looked more at ease at the crease. He played with softer hands which meant he rotated the strike better. You're right, this will be another challenge, but I think the Faffa's are really gonna miss Dale Steyn, more than they realise.
Morkel is a gimp, always has been, and unless you can't tell the difference between the wicket and the outfield Philander is a pie chucker. Rabada though is real good, why they give the new ball to Morkel over this bloke is beyond me.
We'll see i hope they do well.
Morkel had the skill to be an all time great but one of the dumbest bowlers i have ever seen. Philander is a fine bowler on a deck with something in it and i think Rababada is world class. I rate our attack as superior though.
