Ryles pressor

He wasn't happy, and his last comment as he was getting up, no questions on the officiating?....

  • There were some average moments but we lost this one ourselves, we had plenty of opportunities and made plenty of errors.

  • He should have mentioned the refs weeks ago when Gough smashed us against tigers

    • Yep absolutely should've

    • This !!!

  • Smart snide comment by Ryles! can't fine him for that either.
Wished he could've said same about tigers and the six again ridiculous ness of storm game too. Not the reason we lost but it has to be said.

  • Don't think this was the right game to make that statement especially when the last couple weeks he has said that eels can't blame the refs. Tigers game was the one to do it. Not this one when we dropped the ball so much and gave away stupid escort penalties. Yes the ruck was slow and questionable penalty try but we played shit

    • I have to agree with all of that EA

      • Yep like simply put it this way. Not at a single point during the game did I feel we were winning the game regardless of the ref. Just knew we would conceed a soft try or drop the ball

        • Yer, same here mate, never felt confidence. Our defence is just a shambles!

    • You know why the ruck was slow because of our lack of physicality in the middle of the park.If we ran harder like they were there getting the accendency and the officials can see that. This is the issue when your built for finesse and you play sides that are more athletic and more physical than you in attack and defense.

Thats the problem right now with us we need games to go a certain way for us to be competitive.I mean how we manage to win games against the Dogs Broncs and even the Dragons we're outliers.Of those 3 wins the only real battle physically  we won was against the dogs.Outside of that we've been well short of the mark in the middle of the field.

Back 5 yardage don't even get me started we are so poor in this area it's a joke.We aren't going to win footy games with the back 5 we have there yardage games goes close to the worst in the nrl.

"I wonder if we could find a way to utilise JACs speed in the middle somewhere. Not full time just a bit of licence to roam and sit on Volk or Mitch's hip.
I think you're being a little tough on CG. There's a player there. You also have to remember…"

Parra has always seemed to play well against them for those reasons, against some of the other sides, we have never had speed to match them. I think a strong…"
