Ryles, have we seen enough to declare he can coach?

Do you think you have seen enough to declare Ryles is going to be s good coach?, it's a resounding yes from me. I declared early on that he will be the coach to end out premiership drought and that feeling has only been reinforced as the season has progressed.  It's a bold statement but I'm sticking to it.

              • Lol Randy ploppa the expert especially on Austrac related matters, drug related crime and betting 🤣 we are so lucky to have a poster like ploppa..Jack of all trades and master of none.

You know whats unfair? reading ploppa dribble..think of the next group of eels supporters joining this site soon- message to the old man have a extra long off season.

            • Your entitled to have that opinion and its not "unfair" - what gives me confidence is Jason apprenticeship, the coaching staff around him. Adam Obrien gone, came from the storm system I think and melted under the pressure.  Now some will say making the finals 4 from 6 attempts is a pass mark i can't make up my mind about his time at the Knights.

BA wanted to be a career coach no great apprenticeship either and it showed in our results so inconsistent.  Jason hopefully is around for long time, I'm not concerned about his coaching ability - the handbrake to the clubs and Jason success will  be MON and Jim S ability or lack of in terms of getting our recruitment right - MON has been around for a while now, BA cannot be the only fall guy in this equation.

          • "warranted" welcome to CSI 1 eyed Eel! Lol

    • I tell my yoga instructor the exact same thing

      Then she smiles at me.

  • Man if we finish above the tigers this year it'll be so funny. They had all the sexy signings and we might still better than them.

    • Just had a look at the ladder, we're only 5 behind the tigers on points differential. Surely we've got this.

      • Tigers have the Titans up last I think they'll get them as there cooked.

We'll have to put a score on Newcastle to move up again I reckon.

Theres a chance we go up one spot if we do that as the Dolphins have Canberra at home and no doubt they'll rest some players there.

So ideal scenario we stay put or if we do the above mentioned and the dolphins go down I think there's a possibility to move up one spot.

        • I had a quick squiz this morning before going out for a ride. Our +/- is in the negatives only 5 behind the tigers and we're both on the same competition points. The dolphins are 2 competition points ahead with a positive for and against. The dolphins aren't even in the discussion.

          • Yep that'll be why I was looking at last weeks table my bad.
