Could just be that his contract is up at the end of this year and Melbourne aren't sure if they want to keep him longer then that.
If however his current Eels contract is longer than the end of this year, that is an interesting option and the first time I've ever heard of it happening in the NRL, almost sounds like a football (soccer) loan deal
I've always thought Morgan was the kind of centre who would look good playing outside of true ball players. He almost went to Souths in their prime, where I reckon he would've scored a motza of tries. Should be a good fit for Melbourne too. Wishing him nothing but good things, always went hard for Parra
all he needs to do now is go to the Dogs and he'll have the trifecta of cap rorters
This should only be allowed the proviso he has to play against us.
