I know the knights middle was soft today but Matto was best on park for me. Should we consider offering him a deal? He was ball playing with such great speed and squaring the defence up just before passing. It was superb. He offloaded well even when having 3 people on him. I was actually bit annoyed of how we played of his offloading. When D Brown moves back to 6, Matto's offloads will be even more effective. We needed to get the ball quicker to our strike players like D Brown with his great running game (and footwork) and the ability to throw the floater over the top or play short. Matto's tough runs were also good. He really charged ino the defence like I havent seen since his conssion issues. He had so many PCM each carry. He is really showing his versatility as either a 80min backrower or a great middle impact player. Concussions will always be a concern for him and will probably decide whether the club want to keep him.

Yes lots of us have said he deserves a contract
He's been underwhelming this year but today he played one of his top 5 games. Hope he can keep up the form that had him called up for NSW when at the Tigers.
Yes, absolutely. He's a class edge and we're losing forwards next year. In my mind he's a must keep.
He's looking massive and seems to be finally over the head knock issues hopefully. He's a very good player and we would want to hang onto him considering we are losing Papalli

The issue with Matto is going to be whether he's happy to sign for what he's worth or whether he's going to test the market after getting a few good games under his belt.
Given the very bare roster that the Dolphins have I'm sure they'd take a look at him.
I'd be fine for him to stick around if it was on the right coin. He was definitely close to if not the best on the field tonight.
Dolphins already have Bromwich brothers, Kaufusi and Nicholls. They can't be slinging dollars at Matto when they desperately need spine players.

What impressed me the most about today's effort was his hard running, he looked like a player that is playing for a contract. If today's form continues I think he is a certainty to be offered a new contract.
