  • Brent Reid brought forward the narrative BA is in trouble. That is the first domino to drop since the media are not ones to say that about BA. They would say he is under pressure but can do it, now it is he has been there too long. Once the journalists get involved, the gears begin moving. Loss to Manly followed by a bye week meaning a full 14 days to redeem themselves and the noise will get louder and louder.

It is on the squad if they really like BA to beat Manly and shut off the noise to be fair. But another loss and starts all over again.

    • They'll win and drag this on for the rest of 24.

The band aid will need to be ripped off eventually so I just hope these boardroom clowns have the balls to make the call. The club desperately needs changes to be made beginning with this clueless coach.

      • According to BA, he has a very transparent relationship with the board - meaning he would be told if/when he's on the outer....and that hasn't happened yet.

        • Brent Reid said that, the board will not go behind Arthur's back. They will tell him where he stands.

      • BA is an NRL golden child. He is the epitome of coach they desire in their comp. A total NRL cuckold , so if there's noise of him being on the outer the officials will ensure we are given every oportunity to beat Manly.

        • Agree wiz

he's vanilla inside and out and causes no issues ...

not a bo peep in the tele about him today really except for the match write up 🤷‍♀️

        • True - he would actually make a great politician IMO, could explain why I detest him.

Knows which asses to kiss and how to keep those in and around him on side...

        • If that is the case, they should let him win a comp. Therefore he has a job for life. BA wins us a comp and they will build him a statue and media will be off him completely.

          • Well they almost did year before last. The vultures were starting to circle him mid season and then we went on a winning spree , then assisted by a blatant forward pass right into the GF.  Unfortunately when we got there no amount of help could mask just how fucking inept our players were at that level.

      • I just want to see Friday. If we win, well there is your answer to how things will go during the week. We lose but respectfully media will hang around but not as heavy. Get hammered and drums will bang. If it wasn't for Demetriou surviving BA would have more on him as if Souths lose to Penrith media will be on him more.
