Run to the finals

This blog is to discuss football. I'm a bit sick of the politics , hypocrisy of the NRL, the lack of accountability taken by the ppl voted in by members to run there club. The attitude of acceptance that clubs cheat the cap but you just need To hide it better than we have. The club not havin resigned BA . I'll stop the rant here already off topic.So the run to the finals lets pretend we will be allowed to play finals if we mathematically make it from this point.Parra 12th with 12 points +10 pt diff9 rounds to play 18 points up for grabsThe next three games are worth 4 points really as they are teams we want to lose as well directly above us.We should beat all threeRd 19 Panthers (currently 8th 18 points with -36 pt diff)Rd 20 Titans ( currently 10th 16 points -23 pt diff)Rd 21 Tigers ( currently 11th 16 points -86 pt diff)First test is against Broncos they should be out of origin slump by then. I think the boys will be up for this game as we went close in rd1. We have come along way since then soRd 22 Broncos ( currently 7th 20 points + 79 pt diff)If we come out of that first month with 4 wins who knows. The remaining teams we play rant that tough.There is a slim chance for us the best bit is BA won't be giving up so he won't let the boys either. I hope the fans don't abandon the team because the players have earnt respect this year. If you are near one of the games get out and support the boys

Theres no way we will be allowed to play in the finals, the other clubs would riot and fairly so, its not going to happen Nick unfortunately, discussing it is unicorn stuff no offence.

  I did say lets pretend. I have the same realistic perspective and I can see how the team finishing 9th would be pissed.
  
  However BA wont give up. The players haven't given up. we gave up our best prop, starting hooker a couple of backup players to be 'allowed' to play for points and could overturn -12 point penalty. If we did mathematically make it from this point I'd say we would deserve to be there. None the less also accept if we were denied being allowed to.
  
  Im gonna be a unicorn and try and enjoy the run in to the finals. It will give me much more joy than talking about the next overhyped spastic to wind up on the board of our club.

  Well, Greenberg publicly announced the Eels are eligible to play in the finals if they make it. So there goes the "no way we will be allowed" theory. Of course, some always couch prognostications vague enough to allow backtracking

There is a slim chance
But there is only 8 more games to go and we need to win them all to get 28 points
If we get 24 points we will have done well considering that we half our cap are not playing
Interesting to see if the refs still turn a blind eye to foul play against us

  Season was over in Mid May. The refs will see that we are killed off if the results of the remaining games seem to give us a chance.

  I agree that injury depletion is most likely to keep us out. At this stage it's unlikely we can actually take another hit

Raiders 27 Points

EELS 26 Points   yes thats right 7th %

Warriors on 26 Points %

Pathers on 26 Points %

Tigers on 26 %

Titans on 24

Dragons on 24

Mate we can knock of the Bronco's then we can afford 1 slip up against the Warriors away and still make it.

In fact our team is the best defensive unit going round we need to stay healthy and we should beat

Panther Away They are shocking no halves or centers we owe them for that loss at the death

Dragons Home romp this one

Manly home   we will romp this one

Tigers Home defence will win it

Warriors Away hot and cold our defence should be good enough

Titans. Away   Too strong for them

Raiders Away Hot and Cold. The should remember last year where we were ripped off by the refs on fulltime
