very interesting darko, yes i agree Horo is a man child, fancy living with you mum at age 25, what a muppet, thank good the mummies boy is leaving, do we need these sort of soft cocks playing for us....
Iwonder if Mannah live with his mummy too....
I think Horo is prime example of our forwards going backwards under kearney, Anderson introduced him and he was making great progress when he came in. Enter Kearney and guys like Timmy Mannah, Allgood and Horo (admittedly keating did get better) all went backwards under him. I think R Stuart could be the right coach for him.
He coaching techniques should always be questioned but his talent as a player was undeniable.
If our back rowers did not improve under the coach than yeah he has to cop some slack but surely Horo, Lasalo, O'Hanlon, Tautai, Penese & Shackleton have to shoulder most of it IMO.
SK brought through our ranks Ryan and Paulo and they were a shining light compared to the players above.
How could Allgood have gon backwards under SK seen as though SK was the one who debuted him at the start of last year and he had a great debut year and played well mostly this year. I believe he was playing injuryed before he was dropped and than ruled out for the rest of the year.
A list of all the players SK debuted Mullaney, Morgan, Allgood, Loko, Sio, Blair, Brien, Nathan Smith, Ryan, o'hanlon( I could be wrong on that one) Its a fair list of young blokes who have shown that they are more than capable in the top grade and will only get better. Im not trying to say it was the wrong decsion to sack SK, because I believe RS has what it takes to get the best out of the side, Im just saying SK did do something right at least.
Also he got players who had played a handful of games in first grade and turned them into consistent players e.g. luke kelly, Paulo and Lassalo to an extent.
Yeah Lasalo was conistent....consistently bad!
As for Mullaney SK gave him one game & then dropped him again even though he played well in a badly beaten side. Mullaney should have been played in every game that Hayne wasn't available including during SOO.
Nathan Smith only got called up cause Keating was injured otherwise SK had no intention of giving him a go (could easily have played him off the bench while Keating was still there).
He was injured. A soft tissue injury kept him out the following weeks until Hayne re-injured himself. I agree on the MK comment. He's the better and more consistent hooker. I would however like to see him given a break and play Nath off the bench.
Lasalo has improved a lot, watch the Penrith game and he played well and every game after that he played in first grade he was running some good lines if he can put on some muscle and keep driving his legs in the tackle he could be a top, right-edge back-rower
storm boys just announced...signing of junior moors(tigers)...& lagi setu(ex broncos)...no mention of horo.....
