EELS HAVE EYE ON BULLDOGS STAR
Source: The Daily Telegraph
The Parramatta Eels are in talks with Canterbury Bulldogs star Nick Cotric as a potential replacement for departing winger Blake Ferguson.
Cotric is under contract at Belmore until the end of 2023 but the Bulldogs are open to discussions around a possible early release.
He is on $600,000 a season and a switch to Parramatta would substantially ease pressure on Canterbury’s salary cap.
The Eels are desperate for more attacking strikepower out wide and coach Brad Arthur has a huge opinion of the former Test winger.

Be a great purchase if for real.
I agree Monto, has real strike power if he can regain Raiders form. Used poorly at dogs.
100% used poorly. No one gave him ball and they had him at centre. Put him on the wing outside of penisini will be good. But not for 600k
Yep, please dont put him at centre.
Fuck no, he is shit, not worth $200k
He was good at raiders. He is a great tackle buster. I don't know how good his defence is.
Yh I won't get him for 600k no way. If the dogs can pay around 150k until his contract is up then why not.
He would be much better at Parra than the dogs.
He can play both centre and wing so he would be a decent pick up.
We need replacements for Fergo and Sivo.
Not worth that kind of money, seriously would have been better keeping fergo for $500k
It would be nice for them to subsidise his deal yes
Do you really think the Dogs would let him go if it meant they had to pay us? Seems unlikely to me.
And I agree I would have preferred to keep Fergo.
But BA doesn't like Fergo for some reason
