Why don't they just go back to having Australia, New Zealand, England, etc... Maybe Fiji, Samoa. These games are ridiculous with ridiculous scores.

The only way these other clubs are going to get better is with more nrl players playing for them and playing more games against other international teams.
I like what they do in the cricket World Cup and I think rugby league should follow suit. They have a mini World Cup the weeks before the real deal between the minnows. The top 2 from that go through to face the others in the World Cup. In means they still get exposure and experience but u don't have Jamaica playing against Australia etc.
Ask the Jamaicans or the Greeks what they think of that idea. NRL players are less likely to okay for minnows if they're only guaranteed of playing in a prequalifying tournament. Would Luke Keary have played for Ireland under those circumstances ? Unlikely, thus depriving the home grown Irish players of playing with one of the NRL's top players.
lol bretto, the RL world cup is an embarrassment, especially compared to the Rugby world cup which shits all over it in every dept.
RL world cup has always been a farce.
It was good back in the 60's and 70's with Tommy Bishop getting into fights with the Aussies. It's turned to shit
I'm not the least bit embarrassed by it, I'm extremely proud of it. I couldn't care less about the RWC, which is only marginally more competitive than the RLWC.
I haven't watched any of it. Firstly it's way to early when it is on and the games are such blowouts they're not worth watching
It's in England, what time would you have them play the games over there, midnight local time ? Would that be more convenient for you.
All I've seen all morning is a highlight of Jnr Paulo folding some 65kg idiot that ran straight at him. The commentators are losing their shit over it. Then you head to the comments section and every second comment is asking why he couldn't do it in the GF 😂😂
