There's also a few demo's set up around the place. I went to Penshurst with a couple of mates to try it out. Got some footage of gameplay etc. Check them out here:

  • Doesn't seem too bad, they seem to run a bit too fast though I reckon.
I'll probably get it. Im sure there will be the usual scorelines of 100-0 when playing against the AI.
    • Our footage was shot when set on 'schoolboy' difficulty. When we had a go against 'seasoned' AI it was extremely difficult to break the line or even make meters. Plus if it gets too easy using standard controls, switch to wii-mote and nunchuk!! :)
  • No probs Dark.

Yeah there's three control setups. Gamecube controller, wii-mote by itself and wii-mote plus nunchuck. got some footage of that too.

Plus one of the guys on the Sidhe forum put a diagram of the GC controls together from the vid..

    Enjoy!!
  • The game play looks the same as nrl2 but the graphics and camera angles seem better.
  • Yeah, pretty similar to RL2 but there have been some improvements. AI's better, there are different defensive strategies to choose from during play (eg. select kick defence to drop fullback and wingers back on the 5th) and kicks in play have been improved. Few other things as well like sidesteps, passing and play the ball all much smoother than previous versions. For a relatively small developer / budget they've really well.
  • They need to make RL3 on PS3.
