Routers do it again

Angus Crichton re-signs for an undisclosed amount. How the hell can they remain under the salary cap. They have 10 players worth more than $750,000. So say the average is $850,000 then this is 8.5 million. Lyndsay Collins in on $550,000 So that means the rest are on next to nothing.??????

  • Sorry should be Rorters

  • So what's new?

    • Jokes aside, Roosters get hammered a lot about their salary cap and Uncle Nick. But the reality is that club does extremely well in getting players to buy into their rich history, staying loyal, looking after their players 'post footy career' with plenty of business people associated with that club. That's why most players will take unders to stay at the Roosters while we and the media keep banging on about their salary cap. What does the Parra club offer? A job at Peter Wynne Score after their footy career is over? The Parra club has a lot to learn from the Roosters.

      • This concept of unders is ridiculous. If players can sign for less than market then the cap is pointless.

        • We tried to do it once and got told we weren't  allowed

  • Not only have they re-signed Crichton but they have also added Jaxon Paulo and Jake Turpin.

    • I think Jaxon Paulo will be a great player for them likely as a centre.

  • There should be a separate competition National Rorters League. It would include Roosters, Storm, Bulldogs, Penrith

    • PT47. Funnyly (forget the spelling) enough Gould involved in 2 of them

      • He's probably involved in all. He likes his fingers in every pie
