I think Sivo would benefit with rounds 12 & 13 in NSW cup to get fitness, round 13 we have a bye so ease him back into the top grade then long turn around to round 14 on Queens Bday weekend on the Monday v Canterbury.
LB why would you write that....people are paid in the club to judge his fitness, having recovered from an ACL you may well be right but surely the people don't need your advice as to what may benefit him.
i.e. you could say "I suspect that they may bring him back through NSW Cup unless they have got him super fit or if we are ok for wingers by then".
Personally I don't think Sivo was properly fit for his last 1 1/2 seasons.Let's hope by some miracle he has improved his pace by 5 metres by reshaping his body.
Finally if the other wingers are flying at the time, he may need to play his way back in. I'm sure the appropriate training staff will be able to answer most of those questions.
Just an opinion Poppa, do not expect it to come true or to be realised, just stating i think match fitness wise it might better putting him there, based on how BA brought back Matterson last year and Nathan Brown this year with one game in NSW cup BA might do that too with the bye week as an added week to play. No better way to gain fitness than playing.
I believe you would have said some things that you feel the club should do before Poppa hahaha. I did say i think Lol.
Sivo at his peek could only run 20 m before getting puffed
True
I think you may be right LB. Wouldn't surprise really. A run in reserve grade for a couple weeks would probably help get him some confidence back in the knee.
Awesome to see Sean Russell is back this week in NSW Cup!
Don't forget that Russell is a 4 game rookie, Pereham could have scored any of the tries he scored in the first round. He shows some potential but he is no world beater!
Russell is a really good player
Yeah! Great news
