Im just wondering about the games next week all being played at Suncorp Stadium and if anyone else thinks its a good idea or not. Im a bit concerned about what kind of condition the oval is going to be in for teams playing the last few games. The Eels play the Storm on Saturday evening after there have already been 5 games played on the oval. I would imagine the groundsman would have there jobs cut out for them to keep the condition of the oval in top shape after so many games on one oval. Just hope no player from any team suffers a major injury and in particular any of the Eels players. It could end up like running on concrete which wouldnt be good for the knees.

If it was at a crap stadium I would be more concerned and unless there excessive rain shouldn't be an issue. Stadiums have held similar amount of games over shorter period when there used to be 3 grades and multiple clubs used the SFS or Homebush on different days or when rugby games held on same weekend.
They should hold Magic Round at Brookvale Oval next year, then whoever has the most players standing at the end of the weekend wins the comp.
The winner would get a Steven Bradbury trophy instead of the Provan-Summons trophy !!!
Lol. Not bad at all.
Bwahaha
It'll be fine
The Storm are not as good this year. They couldn't even beat the Roosters and Sharks B teams.
Their last 3 wins have come by 2, 6 and 1 points all against struggling teams in (Dogs, Cows and Warriors).
Plus the referees have helped the storm in the 50/50 calls. Being Suncorp and Cameron Smith and afew others being Maroons the referee (whoever it is - hope its not Perenara) may just favour the Storm but I hope not.
Good chance for Parra to get some neutral ground experience for the finals :)
I actually thought it was a wrong posting by the NRL when I saw all games at Suncorp? That's rediculous. The grass is going to look like some was doing burn-outs with a tank after 2-3 games.
