Good Job Lurker; I think we may see a change from the bench

Rather Walker come off the bench has more impact
Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin March 24, 2026 at 4:06pm

Im Mclovin it Ron

Williams front row and Walker starting is the best starting option.

Im really liking our much bigger bench with.

Moretti

Doorey

Sam Tuivaiti

Three bigs so we will be better off and heavier through the middle as we got found out mant times against the Dragons

Also No Debelin it looks like he's really fallen off the radar now.

And Araz Nava , his first call up . - its a good sign for him. Talented

Kelly needs to tighten his defence but we'll see

What advantage is there to Walker starting at lock vs Penrith? I would not be surprised to see Williams and Doorey run on at prop or lock (in whichever order) and then Walker and Tuivati replace both after 20 mins

  Moretti will start
  - Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin > Joel K March 24, 2026 at 5:07pm

Yes id lie to start with Moretti and get on the front foot. Too often we lose the arm wrestle very early

Yeah he should. Particularly v Penrith where your job is simply getting through first 25.

I really hope Walker is on the bench. We just need our starters to hold of panthers as much as they can till the bench players come on which should be Walker, Doorey and Tuivita. Start Moretti in Walker place llzzzz

Heaps of defensive weaknesses in this side. Pezet/Kautoga and Kelma/Kelly

And with our soft middle I don't see a world where we win this

If you play SC, Captain Cleary or Jenkins.

JC replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati

"I understand why they moved him to prop, his ball playing at lock was atrocious after coming back from his back injury. There was a few of us on here pleading for them to move him to prop to simplify his game and that worked.
He should start next…"

EA replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati

"yep he is not a battering ram. He needs to be at lock to be fully effective. Needs that offloading game back too.
Koina will hopefully back his debut next year and everyone will see why many here rate him at a top 3 prospect at our club"
