Round 23 NRL Team List

The Dyldam Parramatta Eels Round 23 side to take on the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 12 August has been named by Head Coach Brad Arthur.

Arthur has made two changes to his side that came away with a 10-9 victory over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles last week, with Peni Terepo called into the starting side in place of Beau Scott whilst David Gower and Rory O'Brien join an extended bench.

Blue and Gold fullback Michael Gordon will play his 200th NRL game.

Kick off is at 7:50pm.

    • His defence in the middle has been excellent and will be missed.

    • No. Think Semi will be another week tbh if this is the first week he has been involved in skils session and opposed stuff. BA loves to be conservative with not playing people when slightly injured like Beau. Theres 4 games left there is nothing to lose!
    • Gem, I'm sure Brad indicated on the weekend Semi was a chance for the Broncos.

As for Scott, he will certainly be missed whenever he is injured.

  • We're gonna miss Scott. Hopefully he and Semi are named late.

    • Fingers crossed man
    • X2
  • Can someone please tell me how pelican hands Peni Terepo keeps getting picked?
Or is it just me? Please if I have missed something he has done let me know! This is the most confused I have been this year.
    • His hands have actually improved a fair bit. And he has been running very hard and bending the defensive line. His selection is quite justified, besides, who else we got?

    • lol pelican hands, look more like penguin hands to me ha

    • Peni has improved this year and is even playing before the line a bit which is a pleasant surprise but I still hold my breath every time he gets the ball at crucial times of the game. Same goes for Vai, how many tries has Vai bombed by dropping the ball?
