  • Good-looking team Hodgson to play 80 again it would seem. Nice to see Russell get his chance.

We need Matto and lane back round 4 fresh as daisy's , hopefully we can get the job done without them.. Moses will sign this week just before his 200th and it's Paulo,s 150th match.

  • Looks like a good side. A little unsure about Jirah Momoisea as I don't recall him doing much last week. The other concern is Jake Arthur named as 18th man. Looks like he's slowly creeping his way back into the 17. Makatoa didn't even get a run last week. I wonder if Hynes is playing for the Sharks this week

    • Hynes has been ruled out again. Unlikely to return until Round 5.

  • Matto back in Round 4 (5 maybe?) and Lane back Round 6 (assuming estimate holds after surgery).

One interesting stat: Murchie played half the minutes of Doorey but made more runs, more yardage, made more tackles, missed fewer tackles and had a higher tackle efficiency percentage. Not sure at that point why Murchie isn't starting instead of Doorey?

      • Yeah the bigger body is more valuable off the bench

    • They both played well. The sharks love the quick shifts and Doorey looks like the better mover

    • Id say round 4 as he had 3 weeks out

  • Simmonson named in the squad for Round 1 was cover for debuting Lumelume? Russel parachuted in now

    • I thought Lume Lume has been good except for a couple of errors.

  • I was campaigning for JA at least on the bench as cover for halves and Hodgson, but realised NSW cup are playing beforehand. BA apparently is prioritising NSW cup for JA this year which is good, so more likely why he wouldn't play him unless at late inclusion for Maka before kick-off.

"Look there are ways to look at it as good and bad for Parramatta.
Firstly, the way Ryles and Moses have reacted over it in the past they are very cagey, joyful more so as if they know they have their man.
Secondly, Dogs made it clear they could see…"

KingGutho replied to Rabz S's discussion R11 TEAM LIST VS KNIGHTS
"well done to Toni Mataele for being in the 17, has been pretty impressive in cup this year. Will Latu on the bench in cup is a disgrace, Guymer should be playing in the middle, he's definitely not a edge forward, Matterson should be in the side."
