  What an awful side. Shows how badly our club has been hit by injury when only nine NRL contracted players appear for Wenty. Toutai would be the only possible top 25 player.

  There are 5 or 6 players who are RM Cup players. They have been playing quite capably of late considering the unavailable players.

    It is odd that we are playing Nelson on the edges when he was doing pretty well at dummy half and defending in the middle. I thought for sure that we would have kept Aloiai in NSW cup to continue his progression into first grade and continued the development of Nelson as a back-up dummy half.

  We have 37 players on full time contracts. This week there are 18 named in first grade (including Joe Paulo) and only 9 for Wenty. That means there are 10 unavailable - over a quarter of the squad:

  Aloiai is still training part time though, meaning he has less time for rehab and recovery. He's probably gone back to NYC for a rest against all the other part timers.
