I wonder if Edwards or TDS will start the game lol
- The Badger > EA June 30, 2026 at 4:11pm

That might be the only half interesting thing about this team.
Eli Stephens June 30, 2026 at 4:13pm

Really not many changes he can make to the side atm. I'd prefer Joash at 6. Ryley at 9 but that's about it.
Darren Munro June 30, 2026 at 4:13pm

No changes?? No new signings?

Everything is so passive with this club. Until it's not.
- Eli Stephens > Darren Munro June 30, 2026 at 4:23pm

Yeah unsure why Ryley isn't starting 9 with TDS off pine. Maybe Edwards lock and JDB at prop. Moretti off bench. Different look
- paul taylor > Darren Munro June 30, 2026 at 4:25pm

Agree Darren, I thought we were locked in 28/30 and needed to sign someone mid year or upgrade a few young blokes to be compliant by 30/5/2026. ZERO confidence about this week. Volkman is limited and PEZET will bring a kicking game but that is all IMO.

I actually question Pezet's kicking game PT, he has not got any distance, maybe his short kicks are an opportunity, but it seems to me that his selection offers little for us.

      Agree
- LB > Darren Munro June 30, 2026 at 5:14pm

Not saying it's acceptable but who do you bring in Darren? Smith perhaps? Twidle maybe? But not much else.

My thinking is if Smih is on the bench his good to go, start him. DE begin offers nothing in th 13, put him in the 10 and Williams to left back row.

JC replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati

"I understand why they moved him to prop, his ball playing at lock was atrocious after coming back from his back injury. There was a few of us on here pleading for them to move him to prop to simplify his game and that worked.
He should start next…"

EA replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati

"yep he is not a battering ram. He needs to be at lock to be fully effective. Needs that offloading game back too.
Koina will hopefully back his debut next year and everyone will see why many here rate him at a top 3 prospect at our club"
