I think Eels v Bulldogs could be an option, Reed Mahoney against his old club.
Only options off the table would be Wests due to magic Easter.

I know we used to play them round 1 all the fucking time. How could I forget , one of these games was my wedding night and I was almost divorced before I was married when we argued over me not being allowed to have the game on a TV in the reception.
Wiz hopefully common sense prevailed and you got some snacks as well as the tv and alcohol.

Agreed but more than likely it will be against a nuffie team like the Titans or St Merge on a Saturday afternoon.
I think the previoius years grandfinalists often play round 1 or first few rounds so the NRL can open with a blockbuster.
