This guy played NYC for dragons in 2009 and then gave up rugby league until 2013 where he earned NSW country player of the year.
Within two seasons back in the game he made his NRL debut this year.
At 6ft 5inches and 126kg, I'm interested to see how this guy will go.
Rory O'Brien (born 2 June 1989) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the St. George Illawarra Dragons of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays prop.

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, O'Brien is of Māori descent and played his junior football for Hurstville United, before being signed by the St. George Illawarra Dragons.
Playing career[edit]
In 2008, O'Brien played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons' NYC team,[1] before giving up the game in early 2009.[2]
In 2013, O'Brien took up rugby league again, playing with the Collegians in the Illawarra Rugby League and winning the 2013Country Rugby League Player of the Year award along with former Newcastle Knights, Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans player Riley Brown.[3]
In October 2013, O'Brien played for the New South Wales Country Residents team that toured South Africa.[4]
In 2014, O'Brien joined the Illawarra Cutters in the New South Wales Cup.[5]
On 26 June 2014, O'Brien signed a 2 1⁄2-year contract with the St. George Illawarra Dragons effective immediately.[6]
In Round 1 of the 2015 NRL season, O'Brien made his NRL debut for the Dragons against the Melbourne Storm. On August 26 2015 O'Brien signed a one season deal with the Parramatta Eels for the 2016 season.[7]

No skin off our back signing him, its only for a year and doubt he will be anything more than a wenty signing.
I like these sort of signings - no point in signing proven plodders - with a bloke like this you just never know....
Trim him down a bit and he wouldn't look too bad providing impact off Wenty's bench. He's probably a little bit better than what we have in the forward pack for Wenty this week.
Could they possibly have a second tier problem like we do?
