Time that teams lost points for this kind of stuff. What is $40,000 to a team like the Rorters. They are over the cap by 100 times this. So it means nothing. What I find funny with the Rorters it is their own players that are the worst at headshots etc.

Yep and the competition became a joke for the next month with the slightest innocuous contact getting sin binned or sent off.
Did you even read the details of the fine? Part of it was for Roosters players abusing match officials.
What Robbo said was mostly correct, but it reeks of self interest. He doesn't get on his soapbox if he wins or if his player injures another player. Remember his last rant after Dylan injured a Roosters player? He blew up so big that the reactionary NRL changed the entire rules of the game and ruined the product for the next month! Sin bins and send offs were being given out like candy!
It was actually hilarious, because a lot of fans demanded the same thing Robbo did. More Sin Bins and more Send Offs. But when they got it, they hated it! "Not like that!" they call cried, forgetting that they themselves had requested harsher penalties to foul play. "More Sin Bins, but not these kind of Sin Bins! Different ones!"
Even Robbo complained when some of his Roosters eventually got sin binned HAHAHA. Irony.
The issue is there is a process for commenting on ref's just seems like the Rorters use the media and influence to taint future results. If clubs do not use the right channels then they should lose competion points. It would then stop very quickly.
Poor Robbo, have a cry you sook. Yes he was right, but he is still a self entitled prick that thinks he's above reproach. He got what he deserved for that childish press conference. There are many ways to make a point.. sadly Robbo's fine will be paid by Uncle Nick.. that's why he rants and raves like a clown.
