Could be the most important game for us to date, despite not even playing in it, even more important than our brilliant wins over Panthers, Storm and Roosters.
Why? Because no team has ever won from outside the top 4. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but it makes it very tough. If Roosters beat the Storm (and assuming we beat Bronx), then we play Storm at Commbank for a spot in the 4. The winner of that game will play Panthers with Cleary and Luia having not played at all for 5 weeks. We won't get a better chance than that to get into a preliminary final on home soil.
We play Bronx on Thursday. If we lose, this blog will mean nothing. However, I'm pretty confident we will win. We owe them a thrashing and our recent history against them has been good.
Let's get the win first then saddle up to cheer the Roosters home hard!

I think both the Storm will beat the Roosters because the Storm are playing in Melbourne and they know the importance of securing a top 4 position and the NRL prefer a Melbourne team to keep the NRL alive in Victoria. The Roosters aren't going to do Parra any favours.
Broncos will win after the embarring loss last weekend. I think the Raiders are the team I'd be worried about and possibly Eels being out of the 8
Parra will make the 4 I'm confident
Hmmm, Don't think so I reckon 8th or 9th
It would be really unlikely we finished the season 9th.
Even if the eels lose their last 2 games and all other teams in and around the bottom 8 win, the difference in +/- say compared to the raiders is 89 points. Hence the eels would have to basically get smashed in both games and Raiders win convincingly, on current form can't see that happening......
We just need to beat Brisbane - this will be no easy feat. Next two weeks could almost be make or break for us. We must beat Brisbane i think. Melb have been somewhat strange this year with their games. Even though they toweled up Brisbane i am still not sure they are as tight nit as they were. Munster and that dickhead Cheese seem to be on the nose.
Roosters and Souths both have hard games next round and play each other last round. If they both lose next round and the broncos and Raiders win the loser in the last round will miss the eight. Souths missing the wound be great for us Beating the the Boncos would decide where we finish lose both games we finish eight
If your scenario plays out Parra come 4th win against Penrith and play preliminary final we aren't guaranteed home final.
If it is against another Sydney team they will move game to ANZ stadium to fit more people
