Roosters, how bad are they! They have 3 players missing JWH, Cordiner and Pearce and are a shadow of their former selves. Yesterday they had over 60% possession, close to 70% in the first half, Raiders lost a player after first tackle, made numerous handling errors, lost another player in second half and still won. By the time all Roosters injured players return they could be well down the ladder, and even when they do return, I honestly think they will not be able to consistently beat the top teams.
All I can say to Roosters is to show more heart, Parra last season often had 3 or 4 players missing with a far inferior roster and competed better than Roosters are at present.

3 players missing yes, PLUS the 3 who left the club RTS, Jennings, Maloney. And they are basically the 6 who were instrumental in what they achieved the last couple of years.
Not worried about the 3 players they let go, that was their decision, so they have to play with who they have.
The Raiders were also without Austin and Sezer, their starting halves who I think are one of the better halves combinations in the game.
Roosters are down more than the 3 players you mentioned. Maloney, Tuavasa Sheck and Jennings can be added to that list.
Takeaway that much talent from any one side and they will struggle. Not making excuses for a side I despise but facts are facts.
