Officials have helped them alot!
Keary probably got another 3 points again ....
They won three minor premierships in a row. Then they had a season from hell with injuries and suspensions to senior players and lost around 8 games by goal kicking alone. Now they are back to full strength they will be in the running for another minor premiership. Due to the injuries they had last year a number of fringe players got a taste of first grade and performed, which in turn has given them quality depth. The games they lost last year from poor goal kicking will not happen again with Gordon in the side and Keary has replaced the void they had when Maloney left. Injuries or lack there of will decide if they excel in September, but at this stage they look pretty strong.
I agree they will be there abouts at the end of the year.
IMO Melbourne probably look a little better at this point but it is only round 4.
Only going to get better
When you consider then didn't have tonight Jake Friend, Kane Evans, Blake Ferguson and Sio Siua Taukeiaho they will have a very strong team at full strength. Connor Watson is a very strong player just waiting for an injury in the halves to get a crack and they have two very good young forwards in Butcher and Knight you are out injured at the moment. They have a red hot squad and the only thing that will slow them down is major injuries to a number of key players.
ILL BE BACK
for a side that didn't play that well and still won by 14pts, shows they will be very hard to beat. Then with the amount of talent missing from this game, shows alot.
They are a force, no doubt
