I just read in the syd morn herald that Osbourne is offering extensions to Robson and Lowrie. I would have given 100-1 for Lowrie to stay given he was supposedly on a pretty sizeable contract and we've supposedly got no room in the cap?

  He's going to be offerred minimum contract 1eyed, plus he wants to be apart of the team for next year!

I'm pretty sure Lowrie isn't on that much. The thing that worries me is that we win 3 games in a row and suddenly everyone seems happy to re-sign all the fringe first graders. The people we are looking at re-signing (Lowrie, Robson, Gulavao) are the same people that 2 months ago everyone was bagging and had a heading towards danger of the wooden spoon. Sure we have won 3 in a row, but maybe make these desicions based on the total 2009 performance and not the emotion of a winning run and beating up a reserve grade team.

Poore was definitely more than $400k and Shackleton around $200k. Therefore we can sign no more than 2 players for no more than 75k or so.

I love the way some of u seem so adamant about the amount of players salary. Nobody would really have a clue except player, manager, and cloub its all speculation
