Robbie Farah??

I'm pretty sure the Aussies took their foot off the gas against the poms on the weekend but I think it was when Robbie Farah came on that the game changed. I'm not solely blaming him for the turnaround in performance but I just can't undersatnd why he is in this side and why Sheen's feels the need to interchange Cameron Smith. This reeks of club favouritism if you ask me! I couldn't justifiably select Farah again. What do ya's reckon?

  • Select who Robbie Farah or Tim Sheens.....? I'm not a fan of Tim Sheens and i used to rate Robbie Farrah massively until he played State of Origin this year and now he's playing equally ordinary in the test. I have lost faith.... He's just not representative material.
    • Robbie Farah, select him or not?
    • Wait till next origin series Daz, I think Robbie may make you eat your words.

btw Robbie Farah was one of nsw's best in the first game, yes he had a shocker in game 2, probably the worst he has had since he's been in first grade. But the guy is class and imo one of the top 5 players in the game.
      • As i said in my post... Huge Robbie Farah fan he just didn't impress me that's all. I hope he can get it together because we need all the class we can get next year. I just think they'll go with Mick Ennis unfortunately.
        • It will depend who is going beta at the time, both individually as well as their teams. I honestly think the Tigers have a better squad than the doggies, I see them improving drastically and the Doggies sliding.
  • I can't see the point in having a back up hooker if you have one who usually plays eighty minutes. And Gidley is also a dud option, he'll only be of benefit if a back gets injured. If an injury happens deal with it but don't expect it. Get another front rower on the bench.
  • Nidge I agree 100%.

I coudn't see any logical reason for it and it really seemed that he just wanted to give his tigers hooker a run.I hate jumping to a conclusion like that but Smith is usually an 80 min man.

You either have Smith or Farrah in the team. Farrah will play against the frogs and Smith in the final.
  • When Ricky Stuart was the Australian coach, he had some buddies in there that definitely didn't deserve to be! e.g Anthony Toupou, Paul Gallen!
its just the coach getting a bit of what he wants!!!!!!!
  • i think he was just trying it out.
  • Smith is an 80 min player.... Farah shouldn't be on the bench...

His selction was wrong but the timing of his introduction was fine given the way the game was going, I thought it was Hindy and Smith that the team missed in D.
