2. If Parra lose their points the comp will lose plenty of interest.
They may have gone down tonight but the Eels showed plenty of ticker to fight back from 14-0 down and they clearly have the class to challenge the Cowboys and Broncos come September – if they make it that far. The word is the Eels will be docked eight competition points for cheating the cap and that would make the task of finishing in the top eight almost impossible.
3. The obstruction rule is an obstruction of justice.
Countless tries have been denied this season due to obstruction calls which may be correct by the letter of the law but are leaving players and fans scratching their heads in frustration. The Eels looked to have opened the scoring with a try to Kieran Foran but the men in the bunker decided Michael Morgan had been obstructed by Manu Ma’u and the try was disallowed. The contact had no bearing on the try and common sense should have been applied.

Isn't that what they want though? Maybe throw in Melbourne and the Roosters for good measure.
That first try was definitely a try. The hole that Norman ran through was due to O'Neill's poor positioning rather than interference by Ma'u.
